Daniel Calvisi
I live in Los Angeles, California, the movie and television capital of the world.
I am a professional movie studio Story Analyst, Teacher, Writer and private Screenplay Consultant with over 14 years experience working professionally on the craft and business of screenplays.
I am an industry veteran, having worked for studios and production companies that made commercial movies for theatrical release in the U.S. and around the world.
My employers have included Miramax Films, Dimension Films, Twentieth Century Fox, New Line Cinema, Polygram Filmed Entertainment and Clinica Estetico Films (production company of director Jonathan Demme, “The Silence of the Lambs”).
I worked for executives who developed and/or executive produced the films CHICAGO, ULEE’S GOLD, SPY KIDS, SCREAM 2 & 3, CHOCOLAT, THE GAME, VOLCANO, MIMIC and many others.
I wrote hundreds of coverage reports on the job as a studio Reader.
I have taught screenwriting and story analysis at four educational institutions.
I have worked with over 450 private clients as a Screenplay Consultant since 1998.
I am a paid screenwriter.
I am an Inktip.com-approved Screenplay Consultant.
