Award-Winning Actress Jessica Alba Looks Great In Bikini, Doesn’t Use Scripts

Good actors, never use the script unless it’s amazing writing. All the good actors I’ve worked with, they all say whatever they want to say.

John August decided to have some fun with Jessica’s quote here and it’s set off quite the Internet firestorm.

Do you know the real reason we hold table readings in pre-production? So the actors will read the entire script at least once.

The story’s been picked up by Deadline Hollywood, Ain’t It Cool News, Huffington Post and even Perez Hilton, which officially makes this story gossip-worthy.

But to screenwriters, it’s painful to hear. Could it be true or is Elle magazine manufacturing some controversy with a deliberate mis-quote?

Keep in mind that Ms. Alba also had this to say..

I know I haven’t been swimming in the deep end with some of the movies I’ve done. I wasn’t trying to. I knew what they were.
